The Chicco Next2Me Pop Up feels very robust and durable, and is an ideal size as well. The bedding is easily washed and the sides of the cot can be raised and lowered independently to different positions. This is helpful when your baby requires to be positioned closer or further away from you, and it can help reduce the risk of suffocation.
Another advantage of the Chicco Next2Me is that it can be used as a normal standalone crib, even when it is not connected to a bed for a parent, meaning you can use it in different rooms during the day to enjoy napping. Like all bedside cots we've seen and reviewed, the Voyager comes flat-packed and has very clear instructions. Once you've put it together, you'll find a frame with legs and castors, a mattress, cot fabric and tether straps in the box.
It's easy to put together and it's easy and quick. It's well worth it, but the end result is an excellent product that will keep your baby close while you sleep.
It doesn't have an option to rock which could be a problem for children who prefer to be soothed by movements. There are fortunately, other options out there should you want this feature. However, if you're not terribly concerned about this then the Voyager is still a great option for a budget-friendly and portable co-sleeper. It's stylish too!
